This is a fantastic Sea kayaking tour in Chilean Patagonia where we will enjoy diferents hotsprings and where we will paddle between Islands visiting beautifull fiords. The vegetation starts where the ocean ends and sometimes is so dense that is impossible to walk through. The wild life will join us in our travesy and if we are lucky dolphiens and sea lions will swimm with us...

 Itinerary

Day one: In order to arrive at our starting point, we must first meet in the city of Puerto Montt, located at the northern part of Chilean Patagonia, from where we start to drive to Hualaihué (the starting and ending point of the tour). In this little town the support boat will be waiting for us with the equipment we need to do our sea kayak tour. We start our seakayaking tour heading southward. We camp on the beach.

Day two: After breakfast we will paddle to south and we will visit the estuarie of Quintupeo with a beautifull forest and a water fall. We will camp at the beach at the end of Quitupeo.

Day three: Breakfast and we will go out of Quitupeo to continue with our seakayak tour fallowing the coastline to the South again untill we reach the entrance of Cahuelmó fiord, famous because of its thermal waters and a sea lions colony at its entrance. We will camp next to the hotsprings that consist of pools caved in a big rock next to the ocean with an amazing view to the entrance of Cahuelmo fiord !!.

Day four: Paddling out of Cahuelmo we will continue to South untill we reach the Porcelanas Hotsprings, a Hot river in the middle of native forest !!. Here we will camp at the beach again.

Day Five: We will head Northward back to Hualaihue, this is the last day of our sea kayak tour and from Hualaihue we will drive back to Puerto Montt after having a greate experience in an extraordinary place. This area is not very populated, and in many places there are no roads, so we will carry everything we need with us and do our own cooking during the whole tour.

Tour includes ground transportation (round trip Puerto Montt - Hualaihué - Puerto Montt), camping food for the five days of the tour except breakfast on the first day and dinner on the last one, entrance to Cahuelmó and Las Porcelanas  hot springs and a tent if clients don't have one. A boat  will support us during our trip.

There is always the possibility of having bad weather, even in summer (the Chilean side of Patagonia is a rainy place); that's why the daily itineraries are quite flexible. In addition, we must consider that there are kayakers faster and stronger than others; therefore, getting to all the planned places is not guaranteed. For this reason it is very important to us that you don't have anything really important to do the day after the tour like flying back to your country.

Each person mus bring their own sleeping bag, and hopefully also a tent, cleaning kit, towel, sandals, swimming suit, sunglasses, hat, suntan lotion etc. Since it is always colder at night warm clothes are absolutely required, among which a good jacket is quite necessary.
